Land Acknowledgement

North Perth Public Library

We acknowledge that we are on the traditional land of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Neutral Peoples. We wish to recognize the long history of Indigenous Peoples in Canada and show our respect to them today. We recognize their stewardship of the land; may we all live with respect on this land and live in peace and friendship.

    PCIN (The network of North Perth Public Library, Stratford Public Library, Perth East Public Library, St Marys Public Library, and West Perth Public Library) are joining forces to bring you the ultimate community book club. We are ALL going to read the same title and then all 5 of PCIN libraries are planning awesome programs and events to follow along. Here are all the details!!

  • New Printing Software

    Our staff have been working tirelessly to upgrade our printing software and have succeeded! Princh offers quick, reliable, and private printing services that we are thrilled to now offer. Please remove any bookmarks or favourites to our old software and switch to one of the following options to print:

  • Newcomer Services

    The North Perth Public Library is partnering with the YMCA of Three Rivers to welcome settlement worker Lily Yin. Lily will hold open hours at the Listowel library the fourth Friday of each month from 10am-4:30pm, starting January 26.

     

  • New Databases

    In conjunction with our fellow Perth County Information Network libraries, we have made major switches to our databases. As of January 31, patrons will no longer have access to Mango and Britannica databases. Instead, we have added four new free databases.
