North Perth Public Library
Teen and Tween’s programs and events are offered year-round to any and all, including in-person, drop-in, and special event programs. Browse our online calendar, visit us at our Listowel, Atwood, and Monkton branches, or call to learn more about our programs.
Programming Details
Teen & Tween's programs are offered for FREE to all individuals from 9-18 years old. They range in topic, may be drop in or registered, and are offered in a variety of our three branches. To check out the lineup and see full details, view our events calendar!
Every four months, new and old favourites will go live giving all a chance to join in. So do not fret if you miss a round, we can catch you on the next. Scroll down to read about important dates.
Library cards are NOT required to attend a program or event. You do not have to be a North Perth resident either. Any and all are welcome, however library cards are free for North Perth residents and you can apply for one online!

Summer Reading Club
It's a little too soon to share about the 2027 plans, but you won't want to miss it! Circle back beginning of June to see the scoop.
Past Challenges:
- 2026 Reading Club: Read for 15 mins daily to collect the jibbitz and enter to win one of three grand prizes!
- 2025 Reading Club: Complete the weekly challenge to collect a button for your fanny pack! 5 or more buttons needed to enter for one of three grand prizes!
- 2024 Reading Club: Complete weekly challenges to collect a button for your bucket hat or tote bag. 5 or more buttons needed to enter for one of three adventure themed prize packs.
Draw for Volunteer Hours
Draw an outline of a colouring page, bookmark and/or a button template for the North Perth Public Library and get volunteer hours!
Receive 4 volunteer hrs for one full outline of a colouring page, 2 hrs for a bookmark outline, 1 hrs for a button outline. Please use libraries, community, and/or exploration/adventure as the theme(s) for your creation.

Must be completed outside of school hours and have already graduated grade 8.
Colouring page must be 8.5x11 inches
Bookmark must be 2x6 inches
Button must be roughly 1.5x1.5 inches
Submissions can be dropped off in person at any North Perth Public Library branch, or digitally using this link.
