Collect Jibbitz with us this summer!!!
Using our trackers, for every 7 days of reading at least 10-15 mins, collect one jibbit and one entry for a grand prize! Keep going for all 8 weeks of summer. No pressure on book level or difficulty - just keep reading!!
We have additional weekly challenges shared online and in our branches, that are fun and easy! For every week you complete, you will receive an extra ballot to enter for a grand prize. See below for each week's extra challenge, revealed on Mondays.

Questions can be answered on our social media posts or in any of our libraries via ballots. Be sure to answer each week for 8 chances at gift certificates and 1 chance at the grand prize.

Who doesn't love Bingo?!
Grab a Bingo card from any NPPL location to begin the summer challenge. One line equals one ballot, but feel free to do as many lines as you can!
Bingo runs from June 10 to September 1.

Youth Reading Challenge
WEEK ONE CHALLENGE:
Find and name one type of waterway (pond, lake, river, stream, ocean - even in a book or picture). Draw or write one thing that lives there. Share it with library staff.

WEEK TWO CHALLENGE:
Make up a short pirate or ocean story (spoken, drawn, or written). Include one sea creature and one adventure. Share it with library staff.

WEEK THREE CHALLENGE:
Learn one new fact about an ocean animal. Draw the animal and share it with library staff.

Find something that glows, shines, or sparkles (lights, stars, reflective objects). Imagine and write/draw something that might glow deep in the ocean and why. Share it with library staff.

WEEK FIVE CHALLENGE:
Build or draw a safe home for an ocean animal using your imagination. What does it need to survive? Share it with library staff.

Spot an animal (real or in a book) that lives near freshwater. Describe how it uses water. Share what you find with library staff.

Find one animal or plant that might live in marsh or wetland. Why do wetlands help other animals? Share what you find with library staff.
